SONJA BRINEY

Sonja Briney is a three year theatre major at Denver School of the Arts. Her time at DSA has been extremely rewarding, and she's been given many incredible opportunities with her teachers and guest artists, including Candy Brown (movement), Tim Grant (Shakespeare and beyond), and Alan Osburne (scene work and more). She is a two year Thespian Troupe #5869 Officer, and has loved being the Advanced Treasurer. Besides theatre, Sonja's passions include nature (rock climbing, skiing, being outside in general), writing, embroidery (pictured below right), and  music. Sonja feels very lucky to be constantly inspired by her other wonderfully talented artist friends both in and outside of the theatre community, and feels that this inspiration really helps define her as both an artist and person.
